Lynne’s Italian Renaissance Library
Built for John’s mother-in-law, this one-of-a-kind piece took several years to build. It is all hand carved by John, including the Houp family crest at the top center. It is cherry and a much-cherished family heirloom.
Diana’s Baking Island
John designed the baking island with inspiration from the stair tower at Biltmore Estate. It is 3’x7′ and has room on each end for two of her eight mixers. One side is cabinets for sheet pans and mixing bowls, drawers for baking tools and the other side holds a small part of her extensive cookbook…
Butler’s Pantry
John’s wife, Diana, is an avid cook, baker and cookware collector. He built her a butler’s pantry to hold some of her cookware and bakeware.
Current Project – Computer/Sewing Center for Diana
Custom designed for John’s wife, Diana, this piece will hold her dual monitors, computer, sewing machines, serger, Cricut and all supplies. She loves all things French, so he made it extra fancy for her, and even carved her initials in the cornice. It is in the final stages of finishing now, and should be installed…
